Stronger Literacy Instruction Starts with Prepared Educators

ALL Ohio:
Your Pathway to a Structured Literacy Classroom Teacher Certificate

Every educator should be equipped to deliver evidence-based literacy instruction that helps all students learn to read—and thrive.

Yet many educator preparation programs and classroom educators face unclear pathways, competing priorities, and limited capacity to implement structured literacy practices with consistency and confidence.

ALL Ohio helps change that.

The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) sets nationally recognized standards for evidence-based literacy instruction.

IDA accreditation signals that an educator preparation program is aligned to these standards—ensuring educators are prepared to teach reading using structured, research-based practices.

A Clear Path to Earn a Structured Literacy Classroom Teacher Certificate

ALL Ohio provides a practical, supported pathway for educators and educator preparation programs to build proficiency in structured literacy practices grounded in the Science of Reading—while positioning participants for the Knowledge and Practice Examination for Effective Reading Instruction (KPEERI) exam to earn a Structured Literacy Classroom Teacher Certificate (SLCT).
