Community of Practice:
Empowering Educators, Transforming Math Instruction
The Mathematics Community of Practice (CoP) is a collaborative, statewide learning community designed to empower educators and elevate math instruction. Rooted in Ohio’s Plan for K–12 Mathematics, this CoP brings together intervention specialists, general educators, and paraeducators in upper elementary and middle school to strengthen their instructional expertise. Through shared learning, reflection, and evidence-based practices, participants build confidence with key math concepts, develop inclusive strategies to support all learners, and connect with peers and experts to exchange practical ideas and solutions.
