We Learn to Value our Cultures

Language is a core component of cultural identity. By valuing our cultures, we recognize the importance of preserving and promoting the languages that embody our cultures. In this set of activities, parents can find different ways to connect children with their heritage to encourage mutual respect and understanding of their own family practices, habits, traditions and cultural manifestations. Making strong connections with their cultures while learning a language, enhance problem-solving skills, and a great social adaptability for children.
